Early Years

Our Early Years Foundation Stage Phase is led by Mrs Ashton, our class teacher.  (Supported by 3 LSAs.) EYFS comprises our Nursery Class and our Reception Class. 

Children can join our Nursery Class from the age of 3.  Parents are able to make use of the 15 hours of funded provision that all children are entitled to in the term after their third birthday.  Children can apply to join our Reception Class in the September after their 4th birthday.  As a Voluntary-Aided Catholic School, the Governors of Holy Family School are responsible for ranking applicants for Reception Class places against our published oversubscription criteria (Admissions Policy).
