School Hours
The times of the start and close of the school day for Years Reception through to Year 6 are:
Gates Open: 8.40am
Gate and Registration Close: 8:55am
End of the School Day: 3pm
The times of the start and close of the school day for Nursery children depends on the session that they attend. Our sessions operate as follows:
Morning Session: 8:40am-11.40am
Afternoon Session: 11.40am - 2.40pm
We kindly ask all parents and carers to help children to arrive on time for the school day. Good time-keeping is a vital life skill which will help children as they progress through their school life and out into the wider world.
Pupils who arrive late disrupt lessons and, if a child misses the start of the day, they can feel unsettled and embarrassed, miss vital work and important messages from their class teacher.
Any children who arrive after 8.55am are requested to be signed in as 'late' by a parent/carer via the School Office.
If you will be late collecting your child please notify the School Office as soon as you are able to. You will be requested to collect your children from the Office and asked to give reasons for your lateness.
If you are experiencing difficulties getting your child to school on time, or collecting them on time at the end of the day, please let us know as we are here to support you.
