'Our school has a whole-school approach to safeguarding, which ensures that keeping children safe is at the heart of everything we do and underpins all systems, processes and policies'
We are committed to keeping children safe in education.
Everyone in our school has a responsibility to provide a safe learning environment in which our children can learn. Any child may benefit from early help and all staff members are aware of the local early help process and our role in it.
If you have a concern about a child please contact us without delay, using the phone number or email on our contacts page. You may also see us in person. Mrs. Westrop/Mrs. Lewins are available at the school gates every morning and afternoon.
All adults working with or on behalf of children have a responsibility to protect them and to provide a safe environment in which they can learn and achieve their full potential.
There are also other key people within our school who have specific responsibilities under child protection procedures. The designated safeguarding leads and deputy designated safeguarding leads are shown here, to the right.
What to do if you have a concern:
Any concerns regarding wellbeing or safety of a child should be reported immediately to one of the safeguarding leads.
Any concerns regarding a member of staff should be reported to the headteacher.
Any concerns regarding the headteacher should be referred to the Chair of Governors.
